About the Integrated Programme – IP Math Tuition
Students who’re strong in academic (usually top ten % of the students) will be offered the (IP) Integrated Programme to embark on broader learning experiences throughout their studies in secondary and Junior College.
Ministry of Education introduced the IP programme in 2004. It permits a smooth upper-secondary and JC education, whereby students in secondary school can move forward straight to JC without having to take the GCE O-Level exams. It’s a 6 years programme, that begins instantly after PSLE and ends in the A-Levels, as well as other diplomas, as the IB.
The IP programme seeks to promote greater versatility and diversity in the system of education in order to support various capabilities and interests of the pupils. It can be pictured as being a “through-train” education system which allows better utilisation of the curriculum time to immerse pupils in wider learning to boost their leadership skills, critical thinking, intellectual thinking and creativity.
